experimentadesign’s cultural programme for Palácio Quintela continues with the exhibition Display: objects, buildings and space. Baginski, Galeria/Projectos; Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art; Galeria Graça Brandão; Galeria Filomena Soares, MARZ Galeria e Vera Cortês Art Agency, together with experimentadesign, selected 23 works by 22 Portuguese and foreign artists represented by the galleries. Different generations, backgrounds and practices in dialogue with the striking, uniquely atmospheric setting of Palácio Quintela.

For experimentadesign, whose main territory is design and design culture, the ties with other forms of creative, cultural and scientific expression is at the heart of the association’s work since its inception in 1998. This exhibition signals the start of a programme series under the generic title “Display:”, which invites a number of cultural agents - both Portuguese and foreign - from different creative areas, to address a given thematic challenge.
